Valle Oriente is surely the area that has exhibited the greatest dynamism in Mexico during the last twenty years. It is part of the Monterrey and San Pedro Garza García municipalities, although it is mostly located within the latter. When it was first developed, during the 1990’s, it was conceptualized as a financial, residential, and commercial area with world class services. Walk. Even though this area has good transit infrastructure, there are some sections that have very narrow or inexistent sidewalks. This, coupled with the high temperatures most part of the year, make walking from one place to another extremely complicated.
