The Condesa area includes three neighborhoods: Condesa, Hipódromo and Hipódromo Condesa, which are located across the central part of the city in the Cuauhtémoc borough. Better known as “La Condesa”, this traditional neighborhood is considered one of the trendiest areas of the city, where you will find an extended variety of culinary options, cultural events, and fashion boutiques.

Similar to the Roma neighborhood, Condesa is highly frequented by young people and couples without children in search of different cultural, culinary, and entertainment experiences and let’s not forget it is also attractive because of its great location and closeness to other relevant areas of the city such as Roma, Polanco, la Juárez and Cuauhtémoc.

Life in Condesa is everything but boring and there is always something available for everybody to do. On one hand, there are stylish restaurants and popular bars and, on the other, it is a hot spot for intellectuals, music lovers, art enthusiasts, and even yogis. If you stroll down the streets of Condesa you can take in the history and tradition defined by its large vintage residences and wooded streets, listen to intellectual chats, and enjoy a festive ambiance.

Families or people who seek a quiet place to live. Condesa’s ongoing bustling mood may not be a suitable place for those looking for a restful and quiet life. There will always be a rowdy restaurant or even some loud partygoer late at night wanting to be noticed.

The residential market is composed of apartment buildings. Many are remodeled units in older buildings with Art Déco architecture, making them especially charming. If this is not your style, you can also find modern buildings with recently built apartments or even ones that are brand new.

Waking up early and going for a run on Amsterdam Street (oval-shaped road that dates back to when this circuit was a racetrack), then strolling through Parque Mexico and finishing with a morning beverage at one of the many signature coffee shops.
