Ciudad de México - Nápoles
The Nápoles neighborhood is an up-and-coming area in Mexico City. It is growing quickly because of its high demand for residential and commercial space in recent years.
It had originally been planned, In the early XX century, as a getaway vacation spot on the outskirts of the city but it has slowly been integrated into the metropolitan area. It still preserves the mood of a small and quiet quarter, which contrasts with the busy commercial dynamism also seen in Mexico City’s downtown area.
Today, this area comprises mainly Nápoles and Ampliación Nápoles neighborhoods, yet in a more extended definition, Noche Buena and Extremadura Insurgentes sections can also be included.
What to expect…
The Nápoles neighborhood is very centric, quiet, and comfortable with easy access to neighboring areas such as Del Valle, Narvarte, Roma, Condesa and Escandón.
It is an area that brings together the right balance between a residential and family-oriented tradition, and a cultural, culinary, and entertainment hub without the frenzied atmosphere of other similar neighborhoods.
Lifestyle
You will love to live in the Nápoles neighborhood because of its peaceful environment, its parks, restaurants, and entertainment options. It is an ideal place to walk, use electric scooters, and ride bicycles because of its leveled topography.
One of the area’s must-do’s is a visit to the Siqueiros Polyforum, a real cultural treasure. There you will find the work of one of the top representatives of Mexican muralism- David Alfaro Siqueiros – titled “La marcha de la humanidad”, which is considered to be the biggest “sculpainting” of its type.
The Nápoles neighborhood is ideal for small families or older adults in search of a quiet place with good location, within the central area of Mexico City.

Residential market
It is not unusual to find big Californian colonial-style houses built during the urbanization period at the beginning of the XX century, however, the current residential market includes mostly medium-size apartments, either newly built or units in older buildings.
